North Carolina CPA Senior Accountant

Job Summary

To support corporate accounting initiatives, the hybrid Senior Financial Accountant position in Charlotte, North Carolina, will manage post-acquisition accounting activities, partner with sector finance on equity investments, and drive process improvements through automation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead post-acquisition accounting activities, including off-ledger reporting and financial analysis
• Partner with sector finance to review and record equity method investments
• Execute month-end close activities, ensuring timely and accurate balance sheet reconciliations

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• CPA/CPA Candidate (with 1-2 exams completed)
• Minimum 2+ years of accounting/finance experience, preferably in large firm public accounting or with a company generating $3B+ annual revenue
• Solid understanding of IFRS and US GAAP
• Experience with SOX compliance testing and internal controls preferred
