Job Summary

A company is looking for a Credentialing Specialist who will be responsible for managing the credentialing process for medical providers.

Key Responsibilities

• Process initial applications and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Verify practitioner information and maintain accurate data in the credentialing database
• Provide credentialing and privileging verifications in accordance with applicable standards and laws

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or four years of relevant experience in Medical Staff Credentialing/Privileging
• One year of experience in a Medical Staff credentialing office
• Certification by NAMSS (CPCS and/or CPMSM) preferred
• Knowledge of state/federal laws and regulatory standards for accreditation
• Subject Matter Expert for compliance of delegated credentialing contracts
