Job Summary
Providing regional leadership for district improvement efforts, the full-time Regional Improvement Director will coordinate planning, implementation, and monitoring of improvement strategies while fostering collaborative partnerships with district and charter leaders in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned districts, engaging with superintendents and leadership teams to strengthen regional improvement efforts
- Lead regional strategic planning by adapting improvement strategies based on data-informed findings and district needs
- Monitor regional implementation and effectiveness of improvement strategies through data-driven decision making and ongoing progress analysis
Required qualifications
- Master's degree in education or a related field, or a Doctoral degree with relevant experience
- Six years of experience in public education, including a minimum of three years in an administrative capacity, or three years with a Doctoral degree and two years in an administrative role
- Extensive knowledge of district turnaround, instructional leadership, and curriculum implementation
- Experience with data literacy and data-informed decision making
- Proven ability to lead change management efforts and coordinate multi-layered support systems
