Job Summary
Providing regional leadership for district improvement efforts, the full-time Remote Regional Improvement Director will manage strategic planning, coordinate support initiatives, and enhance instructional leadership across North Carolina's North Central Region.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as the primary contact for districts, fostering partnerships with superintendents and leadership teams to strengthen improvement efforts
- Lead regional strategic planning by adapting improvement strategies based on data-informed findings and district needs
- Monitor implementation and evaluate effectiveness of regional strategies through ongoing data analysis and progress monitoring
Required qualifications
- Master's degree in education or a related field, with six years of public education experience, including three years in an administrative role; or a Doctoral degree with three years of experience, including two years in an administrative capacity
- Extensive knowledge of district turnaround, instructional leadership, and curriculum implementation
- Experience in data literacy and data-driven decision making for continuous improvement
