Job Summary
Providing comprehensive support in employee relations, the full-time remote North Carolina Employee Relations Manager will manage disciplinary processes, performance management efforts, and policy development while ensuring compliance with employment laws.
Key responsibilities
- Manage employee disciplinary and grievance processes, conducting investigations and ensuring proper documentation
- Lead performance management initiatives, monitoring progress and providing necessary HR communications and resources
- Review and assist in policy development, ensuring compliance with updated laws and providing guidance to employees
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field
- Four years of experience in Human Resources, including one year of supervisory leadership experience
- Experience in coaching/discipline, grievance investigations, performance management, and policy development
- Knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations
- HR certification preferred, such as PHR or SHRM CP
