Job Summary
Providing essential support to NC Medicaid beneficiaries, the remote contract North Carolina Enrollment Broker will handle inbound calls, assist with health care plan selections, and ensure a positive experience for all callers while documenting information accurately.
Key responsibilities
- Manage high volume inbound calls to assist members with choice counseling and health care plan selections
- Document member information and call notes accurately while providing follow-up as needed
- De-escalate complaints and handle multiple chat sessions to address inquiries and assist with enrollments
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma (or GED equivalent) required; Associate's degree preferred
- 1-3 years of inbound call center customer service experience required, preferably in healthcare
- Ability to remain professional and positive in high-pressure situations
- Proficient typing skills with attention to accuracy and quality
- Solid computer skills, including proficiency in Excel, Microsoft Word, and Outlook
