North Carolina Enrollment Broker

Job Summary

Providing essential support to NC Medicaid beneficiaries, the remote contract North Carolina Enrollment Broker will handle inbound calls, assist with health care plan selections, and ensure a positive experience for all callers while documenting information accurately.

Key responsibilities

• Manage high volume inbound calls to assist members with choice counseling and health care plan selections
• Document member information and call notes accurately while providing follow-up as needed
• De-escalate complaints and handle multiple chat sessions to address inquiries and assist with enrollments

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma (or GED equivalent) required; Associate's degree preferred
• 1-3 years of inbound call center customer service experience required, preferably in healthcare
• Ability to remain professional and positive in high-pressure situations
• Proficient typing skills with attention to accuracy and quality
• Solid computer skills, including proficiency in Excel, Microsoft Word, and Outlook
