North Carolina Financial Analyst

Job Summary

Managing MES project financial planning, the remote APD Financial Analyst will oversee budget tracking activities, ensure Medicaid Detailed Budget Table accuracy, and collaborate with various stakeholders to support Medicaid Enterprise System initiatives over a 12-month duration.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the Medicaid Detailed Budget Table (MDBT) and APD budget documentation
• Prepare financial narratives, budget models, forecasts, and funding reports
• Track project expenditures against CMS-approved enhanced funding and analyze costs for fiscal compliance

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience developing and managing the Medicaid Detailed Budget Table (MDBT)
• 6+ years of experience managing multiple priorities and concurrent projects effectively
• 5+ years of budget analysis, accounting, and financial tracking experience
• 7+ years of proficiency with project collaboration and tracking tools (Microsoft Project Suite, MS Teams, Zoom, etc.)
• 7+ years of experience in project management, training, and facilitation
