North Carolina I/DD Reviewer

Job Summary

Facilitating the review of service plans and authorization requests, the full-time North Carolina I/DD Reviewer will ensure individuals receive appropriate services, screen requests for completeness, and collaborate with licensed reviewers in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Review service plans and authorization requests for completeness and appropriateness
• Approve requests based on an auto-approval algorithm and refer incomplete requests for further review
• Onboard and mentor new staff as needed to support leadership

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a Human Services field
• Two years of post-degree experience in I/DD services
• Comprehensive knowledge of mental illness and developmental disabilities
• Familiarity with the 1915 (b) (c) waiver and evidence-based practices
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
