Job Summary
To support land acquisition initiatives, the full-time North Carolina Land Acquisition Manager will identify new land opportunities, conduct research, and manage land data while working remotely within the North and South Carolina coastal market.
Key responsibilities
- Contact landowners and brokers to gather information on land acquisition opportunities and maintain a tracking log of viable tracts
- Conduct due diligence on zoning, utility availability, and financial analyses to assess the viability of proposed land acquisitions
- Prepare detailed land packages and reports for submission to the Asset Management Committee and assist with financial proformas
Required qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or related fields; a Master's degree is a plus
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in Homebuilding/Residential construction, Single or Multi-Family Land Acquisitions
- Experience in land acquisitions, planning, and development with knowledge of the local land market
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial reports or legal documents
- Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws
