Job Summary
Managing leave administration processes, the full-time remote North Carolina Leave Specialist will oversee FMLA, ADA, and other medical-related leave requests while ensuring compliance and effective communication with employees and supervisors.
Key responsibilities
- Administer and track leave requests, ensuring timely communication with employees, supervisors, and payroll
- Manage the accommodation request process, including evaluating medical documentation and facilitating the interactive process
- Provide training and maintain accurate records for leave and accommodation requests in accordance with legal requirements
Required qualifications
- Associates degree in Human Resource Administration or related field with four years of HR experience focused on leave administration, or a Bachelor's degree with two years of relevant experience
- Experience working in a Human Capital Management (HCM) system
- Knowledge of FMLA, ADA, and other applicable leave laws
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
