North Carolina Licensed Accountant

Job Summary

Maintaining accounting records and preparing financial statements, the full-time North Carolina Licensed Accountant will analyze financial reports, manage general ledger accounts, and provide insights on business operations while working remotely with occasional travel for conferences.

Key responsibilities

• Prepares and analyzes monthly financial statements and reports for accuracy and compliance
• Maintains and reconciles general ledger accounts and monitors cash balances for multiple entities
• Develops and analyzes budgets, providing periodic reports comparing budgeted costs to actual costs

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting, with a minor in computer information systems
• Two to four years of experience in finance and accounting or equivalent education and training
• Proficient in MS Office programs, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Above moderate to high levels of Spanish speaking, writing, and reading comprehension
• Experience in analyzing business operations and trends to project future revenues and expenses
