North Carolina Licensed Accountant II

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Accountant II who will be responsible for month-end close and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate month-end close tasks, including journal entries and account reconciliations
• Prepare monthly financial reports and analyze financial data for management
• Assist in various financial audits and improve current accounting processes

Required Qualifications

• Associate's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field with five years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor's degree with three years of experience
• Strong Excel experience is required
• Thorough knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles
• Experience with governmental financial systems is preferred
• Prior experience in a behavioral healthcare agency is preferred
