North Carolina Licensed Accounting Consultant

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Investments Accounting Consultant.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare derivatives disclosures for financial statements on GAAP & Statutory basis
• Assist in the preparation of journal entries and reconciliations related to derivative accounting
• Support management in implementing new accounting pronouncements and tracking hedged items

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
• 5+ years of accounting experience in a public or private company environment
• Working knowledge of GAAP or Statutory accounting and reporting
• Previous experience in derivative accounting and reporting
• Completion of or progress towards CPA or MBA preferred
