North Carolina Licensed Associate Attorney

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Associate Attorney specializing in Workers' Compensation.

Key Responsibilities

• Defend claims against employers and manage a caseload with support from partners
• Conduct depositions, represent clients in mediations, and draft briefs and motions
• Perform legal analysis, investigate cases, and negotiate settlements on behalf of clients

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience in Workers' Compensation Defense Litigation required
• Must be currently licensed in North Carolina
• Experience within workers' compensation defense preferred but not required
• Strong writing skills with deposition and mediation experience preferred
• Organized and self-motivated candidates are preferred
