Job Summary

Managing a diverse caseload from inception through resolution, the full-time North Carolina Licensed Associate Attorney will provide strategic legal counsel and representation in court, arbitrations, and depositions while meeting a 1,950-hour annual billable requirement.

Key responsibilities:
  • Conduct file reviews and legal analysis of claims and causes of action
  • Perform extensive legal research and draft briefs, memos, pleadings, and appellate briefs
  • Regularly represent clients in court, at arbitrations, and in depositions
Required qualifications:
  • J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school
  • Active license to practice law in North Carolina; additional bar admissions are a plus
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in the practice group
  • Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
  • Experience with administrative proceedings, depositions, and mediations
