Job Summary
To provide therapeutic support in an outpatient hospice setting, the PRN North Carolina Licensed Bereavement Counselor will deliver individual, family, and group therapy services focused on grief and loss while managing a flexible schedule and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide individual, family, and group therapy services related to grief, bereavement, and loss
- Complete comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Implement therapeutic interventions and coordinate the overall treatment process
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related behavioral health field required
- Current licensure or eligibility for licensure in North Carolina preferred
- Experience providing grief counseling, bereavement support, or mental health therapy preferred
- Ability to work independently and manage a flexible PRN schedule
- Comfortable providing both in-person and virtual counseling services
