Leading the transformation of the accounting organization, the full-time salaried North Carolina Licensed Chief Accounting Officer will establish the infrastructure and reporting capabilities required for an anticipated IPO while collaborating with executive leadership and overseeing SEC reporting functions in a hybrid work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the transformation of the accounting organization and prepare for IPO readiness
- Oversee the SEC reporting function, including ownership of various regulatory filings
- Develop scalable accounting policies and internal controls to support growth and compliance
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; CPA designation strongly preferred
- 15+ years of progressive accounting leadership experience, including public company experience
- Expertise in SEC reporting and U.S. GAAP regulations
- Experience in developing accounting policies and preparing organizations for public company reporting
- Proven track record of building and leading high-performing accounting teams
