Job Summary
To support the design of next-generation nuclear structures, the contract Remote Civil Engineer will perform structural design and analysis, ensure compliance with nuclear codes, and act as a technical interface with project teams and regulatory bodies.
Key responsibilities:
- Perform structural design, analysis, and advanced calculations for safety-related nuclear power plant structures adhering to relevant codes
- Review, approve, and seal construction and fabrication drawings, evaluating design submittals from third-party engineers
- Prepare and maintain technical specifications for concrete materials and installation, ensuring compliance with nuclear QA programs
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- 8+ years of experience in the energy sector
- Expertise in ASME/ACI nuclear codes
- Experience with regulatory compliance and quality assurance in nuclear projects
