Job Summary

A company is looking for an Inside Claims Representative I.

Key Responsibilities

• Investigates and adjudicates liability and property claims, ensuring compliance with applicable laws
• Establishes contact with all parties involved in claims and evaluates/negotiates claims
• Responds to inquiries from policyholders, agents, and other stakeholders while maintaining knowledge of relevant laws

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• High school diploma or GED with two years of related claims handling or customer service experience
• Bachelor's or Associate's degree preferred
• Successful completion of Introduction to Insurance (INTRO) and Introduction to Claims (AIC 30) preferred
• Must obtain appropriate state licenses within 45 days for external applicants and 90 days for internal applicants
