Job Summary

A company is looking for an Inside Claims Representative I.

Key Responsibilities

• Investigates and adjudicates liability and property claims, ensuring compliance with statutory laws
• Establishes contact with all parties involved in the claim and evaluates and negotiates claims
• Maintains knowledge of liability laws and provides support for property claims during high volume periods

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and two years of related claims handling or customer service experience
• Bachelor's or Associate's degree preferred
• Successful completion of Introduction to Insurance (INTRO) and Introduction to Claims (AIC 30) preferred
• Must obtain appropriate licenses within 45 days of employment for external applicants
• Knowledge of motor vehicle codes and no fault/medical management laws preferred
