Job Summary

Working remotely from the Cary Branch Office, the full-time North Carolina Licensed Claims Representative will handle liability and property claims under close supervision, resolving coverage and liability issues in accordance with state insurance laws from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Key responsibilities
  • Investigates and adjudicates claims, ensuring compliance with statutory laws and maintaining accurate documentation
  • Establishes contact with all parties involved in the claim and evaluates and negotiates claims to recognize subrogation opportunities
  • Responds to inquiries from policyholders, agents, and other stakeholders while maintaining knowledge of relevant liability laws and motor vehicle codes
Required qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED with two years of related claims handling or customer service experience, or equivalent education
  • Bachelor's or Associate's degree preferred
  • Successful completion of Introduction to Insurance (INTRO) and Introduction to Claims (AIC 30) preferred
  • Ability to obtain appropriate licenses as required by the state within specified timeframes
