Job Summary
To enhance patient care, the remote North Carolina Licensed Clinical Pharmacist will manage patient relationships, develop care plans, and monitor medication adherence while ensuring compliance with pharmacy regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Review and interpret clinician assessments for prior authorization approvals and care plan recommendations
- Monitor ongoing patient adherence and evaluate therapies for side effects, recommending drug therapy changes as necessary
- Supervise support personnel and maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations while managing daily activities and reporting productivity metrics
Required qualifications
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or equivalent advanced degree
- Current North Carolina Pharmacist license
- 1+ years of experience in a clinical pharmacy setting preferred
- Knowledge of specialty medication pharmacology and complex disease states
- Proficiency in database applications and reporting tools, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
