North Carolina Licensed Clinical Pharmacist

Job Summary

To support optimal patient care, the full-time temporary North Carolina Licensed Clinical Pharmacist will review prior authorization requests, analyze utilization review statistics, and collaborate with care teams in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Review prior authorization requests and make determinations based on member benefits and clinical criteria
• Analyze and report utilization review statistics to support corporate compliance
• Provide clinical guidance and support to pharmacy technicians while ensuring quality controls and identifying performance improvement opportunities

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or advanced degree in Pharmacy or related field
• 3+ years of relevant experience in clinical pharmacy, utilization management, or health plan
• Active and current North Carolina pharmacy license
• Strong computer proficiency and ability to navigate multiple systems
• Proven ability to work independently in a remote setting
