North Carolina Licensed Clinical Pharmacist
Job Summary
To support a reputable healthcare organization, the remote North Carolina Licensed Clinical Pharmacist will review prior authorization requests, provide clinical guidance to pharmacy technicians, and ensure compliance with pharmacy practices on a contract basis.
Key responsibilities
- Review prior authorization requests and make determinations based on member benefits and coverage criteria
- Track compliance of review cases and report utilization review statistics to corporate compliance committees
- Research drug information to maintain knowledge for application to prior authorization reviews
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or advanced degree in pharmacy
- 3-5 years of experience in a related field
- Current pharmacy license in North Carolina or other specified states
