Job Summary
A company is looking for a Licensed Clinician (PRN) to provide screening, triage, and referral services for behavioral health needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct initial screenings and clinical triage of members seeking behavioral health services
- Authorize admissions and process acute care authorizations as needed
- Maintain effective working relationships and provide consultation to other clinicians and providers
Required Qualifications and Education
- Licensed Clinician or Registered Nurse (RN) with two years of clinical experience in mental health/substance use/intellectual and developmental disabilities (MH/SU/IDD)
- Current unrestricted licensure as LCSW, LPC, LPA, LMFT, LCAS, or RN in North Carolina
- Knowledge of counseling principles and mental health regulations
- Excellent computer skills and ability to multitask
- Must reside in North Carolina or within 40 miles of the NC border
