North Carolina Licensed Clinician

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Licensed Clinician (PRN) to provide screening, triage, and referral services for behavioral health needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial screenings and clinical triage of members seeking behavioral health services
• Authorize admissions and process acute care authorizations as needed
• Maintain effective working relationships and provide consultation to other clinicians and providers

Required Qualifications and Education

• Licensed Clinician or Registered Nurse (RN) with two years of clinical experience in mental health/substance use/intellectual and developmental disabilities (MH/SU/IDD)
• Current unrestricted licensure as LCSW, LPC, LPA, LMFT, LCAS, or RN in North Carolina
• Knowledge of counseling principles and mental health regulations
• Excellent computer skills and ability to multitask
• Must reside in North Carolina or within 40 miles of the NC border
