Job Summary
Providing legal support for vendor and clinical site relationships, the full-time North Carolina Licensed Corporate Counsel will draft, negotiate, and review contracts while advising on regulatory and operational matters in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide legal advice and support on procurement and operational matters to protect the company's interests
- Draft, negotiate, and review contracts, collaborating with departmental staff and external representatives
- Advise on disputes and performance issues, implementing strategies to minimize legal risks
Required qualifications:
- Juris Doctor degree or equivalent
- Admission in good standing to the bar of any state, with the ability to practice law in North Carolina
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with a law firm or as an in-house lawyer
- Excellent contract drafting and negotiation skills
- Comprehensive knowledge of corporate business practices and contracting models
