Job Summary
Providing compassionate telephonic support, the full-time North Carolina Licensed Crisis Counselor will engage with callers facing emotional and situational challenges, conducting risk assessments and crisis interventions while working remotely from home.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver empathetic and professional telephonic support to individuals in distress
- Assess emotional and behavioral health concerns, including risk levels and safety issues
- Maintain accurate documentation and navigate multiple software systems effectively
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year college or university
- Minimum of one year of direct experience in behavioral health, counseling, or social services
- North Carolina residency required for remote work
- Ability to maintain a distraction-free, private office space with reliable internet access
- Availability for weekend and holiday shifts post-training
