Job Summary
Delivering compassionate emotional support and crisis intervention, the full-time North Carolina Licensed Crisis Counselor will provide telephonic assistance to individuals in distress, working remotely while maintaining a professional and solution-focused service experience.
Key responsibilities
- Provide empathetic and professional telephonic support to individuals experiencing emotional distress
- Assess emotional and behavioral health concerns, including risk levels and urgent safety issues
- Maintain accurate documentation and multitask effectively while navigating multiple software systems
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year college or university
- Minimum of one year direct experience in behavioral health, counseling, or social services
- North Carolina residency required for remote work
- Ability to maintain HIPAA compliance in a distraction-free workspace
- Availability for regular weekend and holiday shifts post-training
