North Carolina Licensed Cyber Security Engineer

Job Summary

To enhance the Bank's digital security, the full-time North Carolina Licensed Cyber Security Engineer will manage network security engineering for various platforms, including Firewall and Proxy, while participating in incident management and cross-training with team members.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitates operation of network security designs and performs lifecycle support for security tools
• Reviews, triages, and coordinates responses to security incidents and tickets
• Investigates and resolves network security incidents while providing on-call support as needed

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 8 years of experience in Systems Engineering, Network, or Information Security, or a High School Diploma/GED with 12 years of relevant experience
• Knowledge of data security practices, monitoring tools, and risk management standards
• Familiarity with Firewall Policy Flow, Proxy Administration, and Security Management concepts
• Ability to communicate risks and proposed mitigation plans effectively
• Current knowledge of emerging threats and security trends in the technical area
