Job Summary
Leading the design and implementation of RACF security controls, the remote North Carolina Licensed Cyber Security Engineer will manage multifactor authentication, digital certificate lifecycle, and RACF administration while collaborating with various teams to ensure robust mainframe security.
Key responsibilities
- Architect, configure, and maintain RACF profiles and permissions across multi LPAR environments
- Support multifactor authentication integration and modernization of legacy authentication flows
- Develop automation and tooling using REXX to streamline RACF administration and compliance reporting
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree and 8 years of experience in Systems Engineering, Network, or Information Security, or High School Diploma/GED with 12 years of relevant experience
- 10+ years of mainframe experience with expert knowledge of RACF
- Advanced proficiency in REXX, SAS, JCL, TSO/ISPF, and IBM utilities
- Hands-on experience with multifactor authentication for mainframe access
- Experience supporting SOX, HIPAA, and PCI compliance requirements
