North Carolina Licensed Dietitian

Job Summary

To support the Bariatric Clinic in Kernersville, North Carolina, the full-time North Carolina Licensed Dietitian will conduct nutritional assessments, develop and implement care plans, and provide education and counseling to patients, with some flexibility for remote work based on departmental needs.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' nutritional status to identify needs and risks
• Create individualized nutrition care plans and collaborate with the healthcare team for optimal outcomes
• Offer education sessions to patients and families on nutrition-related topics and behavior change strategies

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in dietetics, nutrition, or a related field
• Registered Dietitian status by the Commission on Dietetic Registration; Licensed Dietitian in North Carolina
• Minimum of one year of experience as a Registered Clinical Dietitian preferred
• Ability to complete department-specific skills validation and competency testing
• Knowledge and skills to support patient education and engagement in self-care management
