Job Summary

Seeking a North Carolina Licensed Disability Claims Advisor, the full-time remote role will independently manage a caseload of Long-Term Disability claims, conducting interviews, reviewing medical documentation, and delivering timely claim determinations to support individuals during critical life moments.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of Long-Term Disability claims from intake through resolution, collaborating with claimants, employers, and medical professionals
• Conduct interviews and review medical documentation to support informed claim evaluations and decisions
• Deliver timely and ethical claim determinations while ensuring compliance with company guidelines and regulatory standards

Required qualifications

• 4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's)
• 1+ years of long-term disability claims experience directly related to the role's responsibilities
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
