North Carolina Licensed ER Auditor

Job Summary

A company is looking for an ER Charge Code Auditor - PRN - Remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and verify emergency department charges within Epic for accuracy and compliance
• Communicate with ED staff to correct documentation and address charge capture issues
• Provide ongoing education to staff and support the Patient Revenue Management Organization with billing inquiries

Required Qualifications

• BSN required
• Three years of ED nursing experience required
• Experience with charge-capture entry in EPIC/Maestro EHR preferred
• Current or compact RN licensure in North Carolina required; BLS certification required
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite preferred
