Job Summary
Leveraging expertise to detect suspicious financial activity, the full-time North Carolina Licensed Financial Crimes Investigator will lead investigations, ensure regulatory compliance, and perform quality control while working remotely from their designated home workspace.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify data anomalies and red flags related to money laundering, fraud, and sanctions violations, escalating cases for further review as necessary
- Verify client identities to ensure compliance with Know Your Customer (KYC) procedures
- Perform quality control tasks and assist with advanced responsibilities, including client communication and developing training materials
Required Qualifications
- Completed bachelor's degree required
- Strong knowledge of financial or banking industries and related regulations
- Proven ability to investigate suspicious activities and prepare detailed Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs)
