North Carolina Licensed Food Program Manager

Job Summary

To support a growing initiative, the full-time NC ROOTS Regional Head of Food is Medicine Program Development will design and operationalize a comprehensive Food is Medicine strategy in North Carolina, integrating nutrition-based interventions into clinical care for high-risk populations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop a comprehensive regional Food is Medicine strategy aligned with NC ROOTS priorities
• Partner with the CMO and providers to embed Food is Medicine into clinical workflows
• Build and manage a regional network of food providers and community partners

Required qualifications

• Associate's degree and three years of relevant experience, or Bachelor's degree and one year of relevant experience in healthcare, public health, or nutrition programs
• Experience in the design or implementation of Food is Medicine, nutrition, or food access programs
• Valid driver's license
• Residency in North Carolina and within Region 5 of Trillium's catchment area
