Job Summary

To support the development of nutrition-based interventions, the full-time salaried NC ROOTS Regional Head of Food is Medicine Program Development will design and operationalize a comprehensive Food is Medicine strategy, integrating it into clinical care and community systems across North Carolina.

Key responsibilities
  • Develop a comprehensive regional Food is Medicine strategy aligned with NC ROOTS priorities
  • Partner with the CMO and providers to embed Food is Medicine into clinical workflows
  • Build and manage a regional network of food providers and community partners
Required qualifications
  • Associate's degree and three years of experience in healthcare, public health, nutrition programs, or community-based program development; or Bachelor's degree and one year of experience in similar fields
  • Experience in the design or implementation of Food is Medicine, nutrition, or food access programs
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Must reside in North Carolina and within Region 2 of Trillium's catchment area
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
