Job Summary
To support the Foster Care Department, the full-time Licensing and Training Specialist will recruit, train, and license foster parents while ensuring compliance with state and agency policies, all in a hybrid remote work environment based in Gastonia, NC.
Key responsibilities
- Recruit, train, and license foster parents, providing pre-service training and ongoing support
- Assess and evaluate potential foster parents and guide them through the licensing process
- Maintain compliance and documentation for licensed foster parents, providing quarterly supervision and assessments
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in social work or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience
- Valid Driver's License and compliance with credentialing and licensing standards
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to pass a drug screening and extensive background check
