Job Summary

A company is looking for an IDD UM Clinician (Remote NC).

Key Responsibilities
  • Review service plans and authorize clinically appropriate services
  • Conduct post-service reviews to determine the appropriateness of services provided
  • Facilitate the development of the provider network by identifying service gaps and providing training
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
  • Master's degree in Special Education, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field, or current RN licensure
  • Two years of experience in a Utilization Management environment in Behavioral Healthcare
  • Two years of post-degree progressive experience relevant to intellectual and developmental disabilities
  • Must meet the criteria of being a North Carolina Qualified Professional for IDD
  • Current, active, unrestricted professional license in a Human Services field or Nursing
