Job Summary
A company is looking for an IDD UM Clinician (Remote NC).
Key Responsibilities
- Review service plans and authorize clinically appropriate services
- Conduct post-service reviews to determine the appropriateness of services provided
- Facilitate the development of the provider network by identifying service gaps and providing training
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
- Master's degree in Special Education, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field, or current RN licensure
- Two years of experience in a Utilization Management environment in Behavioral Healthcare
- Two years of post-degree progressive experience relevant to intellectual and developmental disabilities
- Must meet the criteria of being a North Carolina Qualified Professional for IDD
- Current, active, unrestricted professional license in a Human Services field or Nursing
