North Carolina Licensed Integration Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Integration Engineer (HL7).

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical lead for complex enterprise healthcare integrations using HL7 v2, HL7 v3, FHIR, and related interoperability standards
• Design, build, and optimize end-to-end integration solutions across clinical, operational, and third-party healthcare systems
• Provide technical mentorship and guidance to integration and platform engineers

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required; Computer Science or Computer Information Systems preferred
• 8 years of healthcare integration experience including HL7 interface development and FHIR APIs
• Licensure/Certification in Epic Bridges required; InterSystems IRIS Professional and HealthShare Health Connect Specialist preferred
• Deep expertise in integrations using HL7 or FHIR standards
• Proficient with XML, JSON, and HL7 file formats
