Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medical Coder (Remote-NC).

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze documentation for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with coding guidelines and regulations
• Adhere to coding standards to ensure ethical and legal practices
• Review submitted claims for alignment with payer policies and participate in audits for compliance

Required Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent with three years of experience in claims reimbursement in a healthcare setting
• Minimum of two years of experience in medical coding
• Inpatient Coding Credential (CCS) preferred
• Must reside in NC or within 40 miles of the NC border
