Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medical Director to provide clinical support and guidance in managed care utilization and case management.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide clinical support for all areas of Medical Affairs and make coverage determinations
• Advise team nurses on care appropriateness and continuity across various healthcare settings
• Collaborate with other departments to enhance performance and support team development

Required Qualifications

• Board certified MD or DO with expertise in utilization and case management
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in a managed care environment
• 3+ years of clinical practice across various specialties
• Current, unrestricted clinical license(s) and board certification in relevant specialties
• Specialty training beyond first board certification is highly desirable
