Job Summary
To support a growing healthcare practice, the North Carolina Licensed Medical Director will lead strategic initiatives, manage claims processes, and engage with providers, all while working remotely on a contract basis.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee the processing and resolution of complex claims payments and inquiries
- Develop and implement healthcare strategies and operational improvements
- Build and maintain strategic partnerships with internal and external stakeholders
Required qualifications
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school with completed residency training
- Current and active North Carolina medical license
- Board certification in an ABMS/AOA recognized clinical specialty
- 7+ years of experience in a related field, including relevant non-clinical experience
- Strong leadership and project management skills
