Job Summary
To support youth development, the part-time North Carolina Licensed Mentor will provide long-term mentorship to 8-12 male youth, teaching life skills and ensuring goal-focused documentation while working in a hybrid remote environment in Charlotte, NC.
Key responsibilities
- Teach male youth essential life skills and promote safety and independence
- Build relationships with caregivers and partners to provide resources and referrals for families
- Self-manage and document mentorship activities, including outings and contacts with families and educators
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with at least 1 year of experience working with children, or an Associate's degree with a minimum of 3 years of experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and strong written and oral communication skills
- Valid Driver's License and compliance with credentialing and licensing standards
- Successful completion of a drug screening test and extensive background check
