Job Summary
To ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, the full-time North Carolina Licensed Nurse Consultant will conduct on-site surveys and document reviews for healthcare providers, focusing on licensing and certification processes remotely from Wayne County, NC.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct standard surveys and complaint investigations to assess compliance with State Licensure and Federal Certification guidelines
- Review documentation for healthcare providers participating in State Licensure and Medicare/Medicaid reimbursement programs
- Provide regulatory oversight and ensure the health and safety of individuals in various healthcare facilities
Required qualifications
- Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of North Carolina
- One year of experience in a relevant area of specialization
- Knowledge of professional nursing principles and healthcare organization management
- Intermediate computer skills, including proficiency with MS Office and data management
- Ability to interpret and apply healthcare regulations and standards effectively
