Job Summary

As a contract Child and Adolescent Nurse Practitioner, the North Carolina Licensed Nurse Practitioner will provide essential clinical care through virtual 30-minute video intake and follow-up appointments, conducting psychiatric evaluations and managing medication for children, teens, and young adults in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities:
  • Practice comprehensive mental health medication management through intake and follow-up appointments
  • Conduct mental health risk assessments and psychiatric medication evaluations
  • Construct patient-centered treatment plans and prescribe psychiatric medications
Required qualifications:
  • Graduate from an accredited Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner program or accredited PA program with relevant certification
  • Unrestricted state license in North Carolina
  • A minimum of 2 years in practice
  • Strong preference for NPs and PA-Cs with an active DEA license
  • Preference for NPs and PA-Cs with additional certification or clinical experience with minors
