Job Summary
A company is looking for an Oncology Nurse Navigator (Per Diem).
Key Responsibilities
- Guide patients through their cancer care journey, providing individualized assistance and resources
- Facilitate coordination of appointments, diagnostic testing, and referrals to ensure timely access to care
- Assess patients' health practices and compliance with treatment plans, documenting findings appropriately
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or an ADN with a commitment to obtain a BSN within specified timeframes
- Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina
- Oncology Nursing Certification (ONC) within two years of employment
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification
- Two years of nursing experience and one year of related experience
