North Carolina Licensed Oncology Nurse Navigator

Job Summary

Seeking a North Carolina Licensed Oncology Nurse Navigator, the full-time position will manage patient care coordination from diagnosis through treatment and survivorship, utilizing a hybrid work schedule that includes both remote and in-person responsibilities in Chapel Hill or Hillsborough.

Key responsibilities:

• Facilitate timely coordination of appointments, diagnostic testing, and procedures for oncology patients
• Provide individualized assistance and education to patients, families, and caregivers throughout the cancer care continuum
• Assess patients' health practices and compliance with treatment plans, documenting findings and coordinating necessary referrals

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) from a state-accredited school, or an ADN with a commitment to obtain a BSN within specified timeframes
• Current North Carolina RN license
• OCN or ONN certification required within three years of hire
• At least two years of nursing experience, with one year in oncology
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification
