North Carolina Licensed OSP Engineer
Job Summary
As a full-time remote North Carolina Licensed OSP Engineer, the successful candidate will plan, design, document, and permit new outside plant FTTx build-outs while collaborating with the Fiber Design & Implementation team to deliver high-quality results.
Key responsibilities
- Reads and interprets maps, drawings, and diagrams for Telecom/FFTx OSP construction
- Creates and reviews fiber assignments and both high-level and low-level designs
- Communicates with project managers and field personnel to ensure accurate and timely deliverables
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical or civil engineering, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in telecom engineering and design
- Working knowledge of GIS tools such as ArcGIS/QGIS/Google Earth
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or other CAD-based software
- Ability to read and understand telecom construction maps and diagrams
