Job Summary
To support patient safety initiatives, the part-time hourly North Carolina Licensed Patient Attendant will virtually monitor patients, document observations, and communicate changes to nursing teams while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain constant direct observation of patients using telehealth technology
- Report changes in patients' physical, emotional, and mental conditions to the nursing team
- Document observations in electronic health records and escalate unsafe events as necessary
Required qualifications
- Completion of a high school diploma or equivalent
- Preferred enrollment in nursing or medical programs, with in-patient hospital experience
- Listing on the Nurse Aid Registry of North Carolina preferred
- BLS certification must be obtained by the end of new hire orientation
- CPI certification strongly preferred
