Job Summary

To support patient safety initiatives, the part-time hourly North Carolina Licensed Patient Attendant will virtually monitor patients, document observations, and communicate changes to nursing teams while working remotely.

Key responsibilities
  • Maintain constant direct observation of patients using telehealth technology
  • Report changes in patients' physical, emotional, and mental conditions to the nursing team
  • Document observations in electronic health records and escalate unsafe events as necessary
Required qualifications
  • Completion of a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Preferred enrollment in nursing or medical programs, with in-patient hospital experience
  • Listing on the Nurse Aid Registry of North Carolina preferred
  • BLS certification must be obtained by the end of new hire orientation
  • CPI certification strongly preferred
