Job Summary
To support the development of perinatal care initiatives, the full-time salaried NC ROOTS Regional Head of Perinatal Program Development will design, build, and operationalize a comprehensive perinatal care model in North Carolina, integrating clinical care and community-based supports to improve maternal and infant health outcomes.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the development of a comprehensive regional perinatal strategy aligned with NC ROOTS priorities
- Design and operationalize a regional Community Health Worker (CHW) and Doula coordination model
- Partner with healthcare providers to ensure alignment of perinatal programs with clinical care pathways
Required qualifications
- Associate's degree with three years of experience in maternal and child health or public health; or Bachelor's degree with one year of relevant experience
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must reside in North Carolina within Region 2 of Trillium's catchment area
- Experience in the design or implementation of perinatal or maternal health programs
- Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
